Sparrow had been wandering the town all day, having nowhere important to be and nothing important to do.  She hummed quietly to herself, walking while reading her new book.  She hadn't noticed how far she had walked until she nearly ran into a building.
"Whoops..."  She looked around, hoping nobody saw her almost-fail.  "Huh...  Xander's shop of magic...  How interesting."  She had no knowledge of magic or anything like that, but decided to go in anyway, just to satisfy her curiosity.
The door was locked.  She tried again, then was about to leave in frustration before noticing the string and card.  Feeling a bit awkward, she pulled on the string, just to see if anyone was inside.

Sparrow whistled quietly to herself.  Looking around, she began examining the items on the shelves.  Intricate gyroscopes that spun on their own, bottles and flasks of colorful liquids, dusty old books written in languages she did not recognize...  New things and old things, shiny things and dark things.  Sparrow was overwhelmed by it all. 
"What the hell is this place...?"  She muttered, looking around.  "Hello?  Anyone here?"  She looked around.  There was no one in sight.  Then she noticed the bell.
Hmm... Odd shop with odd things inside...  She thought.  Chances are good that whoever the 'assistance' is will be odd, too.  But what the heck.  She rang the bell.

Sparrow stepped back, wide-eyed.  The thing talked. 
Well, this is a magic store...  She thought.  Why was I suspecting something normal?
"Um, hi."  She said, stooping so she could look the cat-thing in the eye.  "So, what does it mean by 'magic store'?  Do you sell magic?  Or is the store magic?"  She wondered.  She really wanted to get something magical from the store, but had no idea what kind of item would be best for someone like her.

"Huh."  Sparrow said.  She didn't like the cat-thing's tone when it said 'for serious people', but she figured that since she'd never used magic before, she wouldn't be considered a 'srs bsns' type of person.
"Well, the physical altering... things...  sound interesting."  She said, walking over to the glass display case.  Inside were a number of articles of jewelry, a few small charms, and vials of potions.
"So, what do these do?  Would they just change my hair color or something?  Or do you have something that would, say, change me into...  I dunno... a mermaid, what the heck."

Xander, waved to the new arrival "Just a sec" he then snapped his fingers and floated up into the air, hovering over to the case, going inside, he gave a slight yawn still quite tired "here's a few examples" there were 3 necklaces each with different coloured gem inserts one red, one blue and one green.

He held up the blue "This as you expressed, your interest allows you to alter the colour of your hair ONCE" he stated abruptly, quickly putting it aside and grabbing the green "this one give, one a slight control over wind" he sniffed as though this was a normal occurrence.

And finaly he held up the red one, "now this one is special "he chimed a taint of mischief in his voice "this one allows the user to alter their entire physical being" he grinned slightly "you know height, weight stuff like that BUT" he shouted "if over used .... well let's hope anywhere sells things in" he took a deep breath "XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXL sizes" as he finished his sentence he flipped through the air.

Xander, a disappointed look on his face headed into the cupboard and came out with a small lime vile, "how about I force this down your throat and you spend the rest of your life as a snail" he snapped, ... no one ever doubted the three basic charms.

"Okay okay okay!  Sorry!"  Sparrow said, holding up her hands.  "Please don't turn me into a snail..."  She decided that it would be best to stay out of the cat-thing's way for a while, so she slunk off to look at more magical trinkets.  Maybe by helping the other guy that came in, the cat-thing wouldn't be as angry.
"Oh!  Um, hi."  Sparrow said to the guy who came in.  "Don't mind me...  Just looking around..."
