Not sure if people are gonna jump at this, but I wanted to see if anyone else was interested.

The year is 1925 in Chicago, Illinois. Crime in the city is on the rise between bootlegger organizations, gangs, and crime families. But as the police chase after the usual cases, more unnatural crimes begin to surface throughout the city that can only be investigated by a secretive but large underground organization called The Raven Coalition.

The Raven Coalition is a group of paranormal investigators that undertake cases involving gangs and crime families. Their members range from the poor to the wealthy and from many nationalities. Members must be skilled in paranormal investigation, exorcism, and have knowledge of both spirits and demonic studies.

As for the world around the story, the setting includes Jazz Age Chicago in an alternate reality. (Some technological advancements can be made and famous people/pop culture/events can be modified.)

I don't know. If this sounds like something people might want to do, just say so. I don't want to finalize a solid plot because I think it could come as people get involved and the story progresses. Let me know if you guys wanna try this.

RP's: The Raven Coalition
Name: Bernardo Abner Bachman
Age: 42
Sex: Male
Hair: Brown and peppered with gray.
Eyes: Dull blue.
Appearance: 6'3". Clean shaven and not a hair out of place. He's a bit on the bulky side, but most of it's muscle. He has a scar across his throat and another one from the corner of his mouth on the left side to his left ear.
Personality: A bit rough around the edges, Bernie takes his job seriously. He can be a bit hot tempered, but when he's on the job he's as serious as they come.
Skills: An ordained Priest, he is very well versed in demonology and possessions. He also has been certified to do exorcisms and bless water.
Background: Ever since he was a small child, Bernardo knew he wanted to be in the church. His parents also pushed him towards the Seminary- they were strict but Bernardo didn't mind. By the time he had graduated the Seminary and taken over a small church in Chicago he had been shielded from the "horror of the modern world". He experienced it himself when a gun shot victim stumbled into his chapel one night when he was cleaning, and witnessed the poor soul die as he was helpless. Soon after he began to try and help those in need- even though most of the time he failed. The repeated failure made him cynical of life as a whole, and he began to reject the church... until one day he was asked to attend an exorcism. He was 32, and upon witnessing it he found a part of the church he felt like he belonged in. Ever since, he has devoted his life to clearing out actual demons since he couldn't help humanities evil. He was asked by the Vatican to join The Raven Coalition 3 years ago.

AHHHHHH! A new person! 

And I think the difference between him and Poppy would be that he sees hidden spirits rather than sensing them as much. Also, Poppy seems to be a conductor for possession and is attracted to spirits emotionally and physically. (But correct me if I'm wrong...)
