OOC: Iceglass Mountain

The basic premise is that many centuries ago, angels, humans and demons all lived as one in harmony, their land was called , one earth. Dark and light co-existed peacefully. But the utopia of this land could not last forever, for one race wished to be rulers over the others. The angels were perfection itself and saw the races of human and demon as imperfect, therefore claiming that they should have power to show them the way of perfection.
For many years, the humans and demons resisted. Battles were won and lost and it seemed the war of the races would end in loss by all until one day, an angel of great power created a channel through which all angels could bind their power into one to exert their will over humankind and demons alike. This channel was called Iceglass Mountain, for it was a huge tower, taller than tower that had been made by man, angel or demon before, made entirely of ice-cold glass.
The angels took control of the land, renaming it Heiligdom der Engelen, Angel Sanctuary. For centuries, angels have ruled over the lesser races who live in terror of the righteous punishment of the angels should they plan to resist once more.

Where we come in is that rumours have been circulating of a way to break the power of Iceglass Mountain. So we have angels, demons and humans, but other races/creatures are welcome. Whether you are on the side of the angels of not is up to you as well as your motivations for finding the key to unlocking the power of the mountain.

Will actually post the roleplay when I get my character established and write the post, haha :D

Sounds great to me. If I can get a character together, I might join.

Questions, though. I'm thinking this is classic medieval fantasy, right? Or are we thinking a little more modern? Also, are the demons and humans segregated, or don't they care about race between themselves? Sorry for the question spam, I just don't want to break your canon. ;)

Yes, medieval. Definitely. The humans and demons aren't segregated, but I'm sure there would still be humans and demons who don't like each other, much like any society with different races.

I'm in, if you're okay with a dimensional traveler popping up. Arran will just have to be active in two RP's at once. Heh, not unusual for him, fortunately. I don't bother sorting out the way space-time affects him, so it doesn't matter what order these things happen. Sorry. Over-long explanation.
