Death of a Nation
« on: January 22, 2011, 06:36:54 AM »
A single fortune changed the future in ways which could not be comprehended. Fate had set out its path, but the path had broken. When the Human Empire declared war against the other races, one keystone battle against the elves should have lead humanity to defeat. Humanity should have lost then. The other races of the continent they called home should have forced humanity to surrender. Then, they would have been prepared.

Instead, a single human fortune teller told the human leader of the tactics the elves would use. With that knowledge, the humans were able to deliver a crushing victory.

Following on from their success, the Elves were wiped out within a year, the Dwarves soon following. However, while the rest of their lands are occupied, the cities of the fallen lie empty, inhabited by nothing more than ghosts, being slowly reclaimed by nature.

Then, when the fourth race invaded, the humans stood alone. Alone, they had no chance against the Orcs. The same treatment that they did to the Elves and Dwarves is being done to them.

While the Human Empire has been forced to retreat, it is mounting a small counterattack. A small group of adventurers are enlisted into assassinating the leader of the Orcs. Without a leader, the war effort will crumble into nothingness as infighting reigns.

As you can guess, you play as the "adventurers". Magic exists, and works just as in a Heroic Fantasy story.

I'm bringing Junius.

hmm... i think i would use a pre-scarred version of Aldyne. Minus the scars, minus the trauma, still full of nasty.

I'm bringing Arran... but lawdy, seems like each RP he's been in winds up in a quagmire. Hope this doesn't jinx anything.
