Legends, myths, rumors... although the locations and contents vary, they're everywhere and all start from the same place; People. Anyone can make things up, but it takes a certain sort to seek out the facts behind them. Especially when hunting for the truth can be a deadly experience.

The Varjo Spire, located in a small mountain range just north of a town called Kyla, has been host to all sorts of tales. Most of which involving shadowy figures, monsters, undead and/or a creepy individual abducting people. Though there's no proof to back up any of those claims. Only a few things about it are known for certain; it has been there for longer than anyone in the town can remember, pieces of the outside are beginning to crumble and there is no actual door anywhere at the base of it to allow entry.

One other rumor, recently started, is the possibility of treasure at the uppermost floor. This was brought about by a golden shine that comes from the upper windows at the same time every dawn and dusk, making those that first saw it believe it was sunlight reflecting off countless gold coins. Even though the rumor is fresh, treasure hunters are already beginning to gather, hoping to claim the supposed treasure as their own.

I know, it's a pretty basic setup, but since I haven't been involved in an RP in who-knows-how-long I figured something simple would be a good way to chip away some rust. It probably won't be a very long one if it does get doing either, so hopefully it'll actually make it to an ending, provided anyone's actually interested in starting.

If so, I'll be using Athina. She's the only profile I have up at the moment, after all.
