Skills: Talented with the application of make-up, she can alter her appearance and hair color when the need arises. Even as far as making herself look like a man.

Trained in fencing, even though she doesn't carry a sword, she often finds herself using a combination of the footwork learned from both it and her dance classes to outmaneuver anyone she's forced to fight.

Spells: Can turn herself completely invisible for a few minutes, but only works while standing still, too much movement causes the spell to slip and give her the appearance of a ghost until dropped or she stops again.

Can silence or muffle some sounds, mainly her own footsteps or anything she happens to knock over when trying to be stealthy.

Able to boost the speed of her movements in short bursts, usually when she needs to run away.

Bio: Athina was born into the upper class which, for the most part, suited her just fine. She enjoyed the parties, dances and various other things she was told were "ladylike". One of her favorite ways to spend time was reading, with a preference with guides and world books rather than fiction. Quickly becoming fascinated by everything to learn about the world, she found herself dreaming about leaving and discovering new things first-hand instead of though the pages of a book.

However, she knew her parents would be against it. As far as she knew, they'd never even left the upper district of the city, and the few times she asked about what was beyond the city walls they spoke with nothing but disgust in their tone. With that in mind and having heard enough about how dangerous it could be out there, she decided to just ask about fencing lessons. They dismissed the idea promptly and changed the subject before she could even attempt to reason with them.

Not deterred from the idea, she pilfered some of her brother's clothes and with a careful application of make-up and dirt, made herself look as much like a boy as possible. Slipping into the middle class area of town, she managed to find a small school that taught fencing and began taking occasional lessons under the guise of a traveling merchant's son and calling herself Maxwell Reed. While she didn't excel at fencing, she was far from the worst student there, and was able to go there off and on over the course of four years before she was caught sneaking back into her own house, thought a thief and detained since she was still in disguise. Once the truth came out, her parents were upset, to put it mildly.

Nearly a month of being escorted around by one of the family guards later, she couldn't handle the restraint anymore. Persuading her armed escort to give her some privacy using a few pieces of dropped gold and a hefty piece of lumber getting acquainted with the back of his head, she was able to borrow his uniform, stuff a bagful of supplies into the oversized cuirass and slip out the front gate unnoticed.

Dying her hair and using the name Farah Hartford to hopefully avoid anyone her parents were bound to send in pursuit, she set off into the world at 19 and has been doing everything possible to stay there and live her dream ever since.
