Dr. Baron Skanbiet

Biography
Baron Skanbiet was the first child and only son of the wealthy energy tycoon Duran Skanbiet and one of his many mistresses, Danae. Baron's childhood was one of troubles, as his father was clinically depressed and OCD, and would often harass his son. Family matters were difficult for him, and Baron often ended up in the care of his mother, a prostitute. The constant culture shock of switching between two households had a profound effect on the boy and he quickly aged beyond his years. This duality gave him a rough and tumble childhood, and while he excelled at his studies, he was tormented by his classmates for his heritage. His father noted the drop in his grades and hired a tutor for him. This tutor, who would later become Baron's first love, was a huge influence on the course of his life, as it was under her tutelage that he became addicted to knowledge, and soon he spent every waking hour poring over a kaleidoscope of books in his father's library. Expressing distaste for the literary and grammatical, he enrolled in the Forrester Institute of Technology, where he graduated Summa Excelsies Laude as their valedictorian. It was around this time that Baron began bodily discipline, and as he launched himself into one University after another, he honed both his mind and body. It was in this fertile period that he began his now infamous experiments. He wrote a philosophical treatise on the subject of Automated Sentience during his time at Forrester, and while unrecognized while he still attended, it suddenly developed a massive following after his departure. Launched from his relative nonrecognition into professorial stardom, he penned several more papers on a variety of subjects, each well received, and a few were incorporated into the  modern doctrines and dominating schools of thought. It was only then, when he had come into his own, that his father recognized his son as a man in his own right, and the two became business partners on his 28th birthday. It was then that Baron discovered his father's sadistic tendencies and corruption, and in disgust he left the company and formed his own private research center and began work as a recluse. His father was found dead in his bed a month later, with no explanations. Since then, Baron has found himself in many crazy situations, and at the head of many more crazy projects. He has a few close friends, and is infamous for being hostile to those who are not fortunate to be a part of that exclusive group.

TROBY
Nickname(s): T-Row (that's what Laserdisc calls him)

Biography
Not even Baron knows what TROBY was originally programmed for, except that the AI was extremely rudimentary, even back in the day. He found an interesting, but malfunctioning, OS platform in an abandoned factory outside his mother's home. He isolated TROBY as an experiment, but then decided to edit and customize his first AI project. Since then, TROBY has been a constant companion to the man, constantly evolving and reprogramming himself. TROBY originally inhabited Baron's Compass, (a highly sophisticated cellphone/portable computer/gadget) and still can project himself into such devices. However, after several years, Baron created a body per TROBY's specifications and uploaded TROBY into it. TROBY is the Proph's sidekick in many ways, helping with the many projects he undertakes, but often TROBY operates on his own whims, questing for situations to evolve himself, throwing himself into conflicts, and even programming other AI. TROBY still retains some corrupt data from his original programming and is constantly toying with it, trying to discover his first function.

Build: Gray metal comprises outer covering. Blocky yellow graspers and feet. Not humanoid shaped in any way. slightly stooped, and only a custom-built (unusual for a robot to create) Diode atop his "head."

Sexuality: Looking for a similar reconstructed AI.

Dislike(s) : Somewhat irrelevant as well. Crappy, mindless robots, or computers with a single objective/primary programming. Technology that he can't understand or manipulate (which is rare).
Fear(s) : Even more irrelevant than the first two. Despite this, has a healthy regard for taking care of himself and is rather self-concerned for an AI.

Talents
Fighting: Can use diode to emit lights similar to the intensity of a flashbang grenade, usually equipped with some kind of "backpack" that may contain armament. Otherwise uses "hand to hand" in a strange, nonhuman way.
Technology: Has several interfaces for interaction with various ports and tech, but not for everything. (which is very frustrating to him)
Other: Curious ability to empathize, with robots and even with sentient life.
