Early Character Concept Art

I want to put this up early before the other characters are introduced because I want both Sparrow and ZealiSee to approve of their characters because, well, they're theirs. Not mine. If there are any issues of appearance or clothing style, please tell me so I can fix it quickly before the other pages are up.

I mostly need this from ZealiSee. It wasn't until after I had done the pencil sketch of Bachman that I realized he didn't look the way I had imagined him to. Maybe he looks too young. Maybe I pictured him slightly more weathered or rugged. (neat rugged, but I don't know how that works.) Is Bachman's clothing right? Should he look more priest-y? I don't know. I like how he looks, but at the same time he doesn't look right to me. I just need an approval or such from you.

Also, to Sparrow: I'm not 100% sure of Poppy's gloves. I pictured them to look more elegant and lacy and they look too rebel-teen-gothie to me. (Maybe that's what I get for adding netting...) They may or may not be in the final drawings, but if you have anything to say about them, I'm all ears.

I listened to Maple Leaf Rag nonstop drawing this.

I think that the only thing he'd really need was some more gray in his hair, I pictured him as a "handsome clean, rough" guy. As for the suit, that would be exactly what he would wear when he wasn't in his robes. I think I had him in his robes in the start of the RP for a more "dramatic effect". I think that for the comic this suit would be much more fitting.

I love that suit though. So much. <3

I tried to make his hair more grey, but the colored pencil didn't stand out much. But I know what you mean.
Maybe he'll wear robes during his morning prayer? Who knows, but he'll be in a suit when he arrives at the office.

I'm really glad I'm only doing sketchy pages instead of being anal about them and taking lots of time because I'm getting things done. I already have two more pages finished but I'm going to be mean and not put them up quite yet. Sowwy.
